The doors of this building have been opening to guests since the 1920s. Back then, it was just an overnight stop for railroad workers. Today, it’s a destination for those seeking adventure. From the Blues fan who’s looking for a gritty authentic Mississippi experience… to those on a journey to discover themselves and maybe some fine art and dining along the way.

Whatever your reason to roam, Clarksdale welcomes you, dear travelers.

And at the Travelers Hotel, we nurture our industrial heritage while providing our guests modern luxuries. To be honest, we do things a little different around here. Our staff is part of a co-op of creatives who trade labor for room and board (Collective Seed & Supply Co.) and our facility is a community hub where musicians and artists are often presenting their work.

We have a self-check-in system for guests arriving after hours, but assistance is always just a call away. Free high speed WiFi, you bet! A TV in your room, nah-- just unplug and relax. In fact, we’d love for you to join us in the lobby and grab a drink from the bar and meet a few new friends.

Wondering what others have to say about this unique experience?
